Key Responsibilities
- Picking Operations: Accurately pick items against assigned pick lists, using handheld scanning devices to scan locations, SKUs, and batch keys as directed.
- Packing Support: Move confirmed items from picking LPNs to packing LPNs, organising products by destination and order location.
- Warehouse Movement: Support the loading and offloading of goods, pallet arrangement, and general movement of stock within the warehouse.
- Accuracy & Compliance: Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) at all times; flag any damaged, mislabeled, or short-dated stock to your supervisor.
- Stock Counts: Participate in scheduled cycle counts and periodic full stock counts, following instructions from the DC Operations team.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe picking/packing area, including correct use of PPE where required.
- Team Coordination: Work under the direction of the DC Associate (Outbound) and DC Operations Generalist, following daily task assignments and zone allocations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an OND in any discipline.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Comfortable with basic use of handheld scanning devices/mobile apps (training provided).
- Physically able to carry out warehouse tasks, including standing, lifting, and moving stock for extended periods.
- High level of honesty, attention to detail, and reliability; you'll be handling pharmaceutical products that require careful, accurate handling.
- Prior warehouse, retail, or logistics experience is an advantage but not required.
