HR Associate - Talent & Recruitment, Abuja

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Talent Acquisition, Recruitment and Talent Pipeline
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for assigned roles, from requisition to offer stage
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring timelines
  • Draft and publish job advertisements across appropriate channels
  • Source candidates through job boards, networks, referrals, and direct sourcing
  • Screen CVs, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate interview schedules
  • Prepare offer documentation and support onboarding
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring roles
  • Support graduate and intern recruitment programs
  • Support compensation, benefits, and payroll-related activities
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Support learning and development initiatives and employee engagement programs
  • Support preparation of HR reports, metrics, and provide audit support as required

HR Operations Support

  • Maintain accurate recruitment records within HR systems
  • Prepare recruitment reports and metrics
  • Support onboarding documentation coordination
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies and external vendors
  • Coordinate background and reference checks
  • Act as point of contact for candidates

Offboarding Process Management

  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end offboarding activities for exiting employees.
  • Ensure timely documentation, system updates, and compliance with internal policies.
  • Conduct exit interviews and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate offboarding and attrition records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • 3–5 years relevant experience in recruitment
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an advantage

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle and sourcing strategies
  • Knowledge of labor laws and recruitment best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR reporting tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Stakeholder management capability
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
  • Professional judgment and confidentiality
